Job Title:
Assistant Scaffold Installer/Laborer

We have seasonal assistant scaffold installer/laborer positions available starting in January 2019. Travel the country following the PGA Tour golf schedule and setting up scaffolding for camera towers for major broadcast networks. Travel expenses, accommodations, per diem and travel time are paid; great overtime opportunities. Some experience required – all new hires will be trained. Season is January to August, work week is Sun-Sat. Non-Union.

  • Hourly rate TBD, based on experience
  • All travel expenses including hotel, airfare and gas for company vehicles are paid
  • Per diem paid on top of hourly rate
  • Travel time is paid (flying or driving)
  • Great opportunity for overtime pay – work weeks are consistently over 40 hours


  • Experience installing/dismantling scaffolding preferred
  • Construction industry experience preferred
  • Forklift experience and certification is a plus


  • Must be willing to travel 100% of the time (driving, flying)
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Must have knowledge of fall protection equipment (a plus if you already have your own)
  • Must own basic hand tools
  • Must be able to do basic handy work and have good problem-solving abilities
  • Must not be afraid of heights
  • Must be able to perform heavy manual labor, including safely moving and handling up to and greater than 100 pounds; climbing and working from elevated workstations such as ladders and scaffolds; working for long periods of time standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling; and working in all types of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, work as an effective team member, and receive and execute instructions from the immediate supervisor and/or lead worker

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job duties
  • Works under immediate supervision; ability to follow instructions
  • Assist in the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment in accordance with supervisor’s instructions
  • Ensures appropriate safety measures are followed
  • Loads, transports and unloads equipment and materials, with or without the use of forklift
  • Examines, selects and gathers materials and tools
  • Inspects base surface for obstructions
  • Assembles scaffold containing handrails, mid rails, braces and planks, toe boards, screening, locking pins and wheels according to job specifications
  • Secures scaffolding to permanent structure by tying in
  • Erects scaffolding for buildings and other structures and installs ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways
  • Ensure full client satisfaction in relation to the quality of service and finished product within planned time schedule
  • Clean up job sites as needed
